With an impressive career spanning over two decades, she has become a "braid griot" - a historian, storyteller, poet, and praise giver for the cultural art of hair braiding and its profound connection to spirituality.
Val (she/they) is a cut specialist of 10+ years with a dual license in cosmetology and barbering. Val’s passion is providing self-affirming haircuts for all individuals and textures as well as creating a simplified home haircare routine for clients.
